Job summary

EY Belgium is seeking a Digital Risk Consultant within our Consulting practice to help clients strengthen governance, risk, and AI readiness. You’ll work on data management, incident governance, and cryptography, delivering practical recommendations to diverse industries from transport to pharma.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Engineering or IT-related.
• Knowledge of AI, Quantum Computing or Cloud is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication in English and fluency in Dutch or French.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Strong people, analytical, and reporting skills with a positive, problem-solving mindset.
• Autonomy and ability to deliver in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment.
• No required prior experience; tech internships are a plus.
• Strong affinity with AI and interest in applying AI trends professionally.

Responsibilities

• Review and advise on IT processes such as Data Management, Incident Management and Identity Management.
• Guide clients on AI initiatives with risk management integration.
• Assess and advise on governance setups for client environments.
• Engage in challenging engagements with new solutions and emerging technologies like Quantum Computing and AI.
• Support clients in developing Business Resilience and evaluating Business Continuity.
• Assist in setting up PKI, trust services and cryptographic use per best practices.
• Assess client compliance with CER Directive, AI Act and Data Act and support required measures.
• Provide EY insights and pragmatic recommendations to improve performance and risk management.
• Take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of multiple engagements reporting to executive level.
• Develop strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
