Job summary

Altia is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering data-driven solutions across international environments. You will design, train and deploy models, build automated data preparation pipelines, and advance MLOps and governance practices.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, UX designers, data analysts and architects to frame business challenges as data hypotheses, using Python, R, SQL and BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik Sense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (EQF Level 6) + minimum 2 years IT experience.
• Minimum 2 years in scaled Agile frameworks within international public organizations.
• English at least C1 (spoken and written).
• 2+ years with Power BI, Qlik Sense, SAP BO and SQL/Python/R for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Frame business challenges into data science hypotheses.
• Design, train and deploy predictive and statistical models.
• Build automated data preparation pipelines and feature engineering.
• Implement MLOps practices (CI/CD, registries, APIs, containerization) and monitor models.
