Axis Group is seeking a Junior Data & AI Analyst to help build our data warehouse, develop automated pipelines, and translate business needs into insightful reports and dashboards. You’ll work with SQL, Python and AI tools as part of a driven team.

You’ll ensure data quality, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to our AI-driven digital transformation, with opportunities for growth and hands-on learning in a cutting-edge data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch with good knowledge of French
• Experience with SQL, Python and AI-driven development tools
• Strong interest in data engineering, data storage and business insights
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Collaborative and eager to learn across disciplines

• You will contribute to the development of our data warehouse and create automated data pipelines that integrate information from various sources;
• You will push the boundaries of data analysis and translate business needs into reports, dashboards, and practical data solutions;
• You ensure that our data is high-quality, reliable, and well-structured;
• You analyze existing data flows and proactively contribute ideas on how to improve processes and data quality;
• You work closely with various teams to turn complex challenges into technical solutions;
• You use AI tools to accelerate development and analysis and provide support to colleagues in using them efficiently and responsibly;
• You help build an organization that is data-driven and AI-driven.

• Communicates fluently in Dutch and has a good basic knowledge of French;
• Has some experience with SQL, Python, and AI-driven development tools (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar applications);
• Has a strong interest in data engineering, data storage, business insights, and artificial intelligence;
• Thinks analytically, works with precision, and has a knack for analyzing complex problems;
• Has an affinity for the investment, credit, and/or life insurance sectors, or is motivated to quickly familiarize themselves with these industries;
• Is eager to learn, proactive, and enjoys collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines.
