Projective Group is looking for a Data & AI Transformation Consultant to work with top financial clients on data strategy, governance and AI readiness. You will analyze data landscapes, run workshops and help shape operating models within a hybrid, growth-focused environment.

You'll collaborate with banks, insurers and financial institutions, leveraging SQL and data tools to deliver actionable insights and tangible improvements while advancing your own data and AI expertise.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data, business analysis, data governance, reporting, consulting, process improvement or related field.
• Native fluency in Dutch or French, and fluent English.
• Master's degree in business, economics, management, IT, engineering or related discipline.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable working with different stakeholders.
• Interest in data, AI, business transformation and financial services.
• Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools.
• Structured and pragmatic approach to problem-solving; ability to learn quickly and take ownership of your work.

What will you do?

As a Data & AI Transformation Consultant, you'll work alongside experienced consultants and client stakeholders to improve how organisations manage, understand and leverage their data.

Your key responsibilities:

• Work directly with leading banks, insurers and financial institutions on strategic data and transformation initiatives.
• Assess data landscapes and business challenges, translating them into practical recommendations and solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Support the design and implementation of data governance, data quality and AI readiness initiatives.
• Help clients build the operating models, governance structures and capabilities needed to scale data and AI successfully.
• Use SQL and other tools to assess data, identify improvement opportunities and support data-based decision-making.
• Present findings, recommendations and project progress to stakeholders in a clear and professional way.

Your skills & qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in data, business analysis, data governance, reporting, consulting, process improvement or a related field.
• Native fluency in Dutch or French, and fluent English.
• A Master's degree in business, economics, management, IT, engineering or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Exposure to financial services, banking or insurance.
• Experience with Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Alation or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, DORA or BCBS239.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality or AI governance concepts.
• Basic Python knowledge.
