EmpHire is seeking an AI Strategy Manager in Belgium to shape the company’s data and AI agenda. You will lead strategic data initiatives, govern data quality, and collaborate with IT and analytics teams to deploy scalable AI solutions.

The role requires a Master’s in a data-related field and 5–10 years of AI/data strategy experience, with GenAI/Agentic AI exposure. Fluent English; French or Dutch is a plus. Hybrid work options may be available.

• Strong data governance, quality and compliance understanding.

As they strengthen their presence in Belgium, they are looking for an experienced AI Strategy Manager to help lead their evolution toward a more data-empowered future.

Role Overview

The AI Strategy Manager will design and drive the organization’s data and AI strategy in alignment with overall business priorities. This position requires strong expertise in data management, analytics, governance, and emerging technologies, along with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in shaping data strategies, implementing governance frameworks, and delivering impactful data initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Data Leadership

Partner with senior stakeholders to define and refine the company’s data and AI vision.

Evaluate existing data capabilities and identify areas for enhancement.

Create and execute a strategic roadmap that supports long-term business objectives.

Data Governance & Compliance

Develop and maintain data governance standards, policies, and best practices.

Safeguard data accuracy, consistency, and security throughout the organization.

Work alongside legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment.

Cross-Departmental Engagement

Collaborate with IT, analytics, and business intelligence teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Promote a data-first mindset across all business units.

Advise and support teams on data-focused initiatives and transformation projects.

Technology & Innovation

Monitor developments in AI and data technologies to keep the organization competitive.

Assess and recommend platforms and tools to strengthen data capabilities.

Lead the deployment of new data management and AI systems.

Impact & Performance Tracking

Establish KPIs to evaluate the success of data and AI initiatives.

Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, outcomes, and opportunities for improvement.

Candidate Profile

Master's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

5-10 years of experience developing and executing AI and data strategies.

Experinece in Gen AI Or Agentic AI

Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and compliance standards.

Demonstrated ability to manage projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in English; Dutch or French is a strong advantage.

Hands-on knowledge of modern data and AI tools and platforms.
