Itineris is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to join its AI Practice in Belgium. You will help design, configure, test, and improve AI agents, investigate behavior, and use experiments to enhance reliability.

You’ll support feasibility studies, document learnings, and turn valuable experiments into maintainable customer solutions. You’ll work with senior engineers, data specialists, and product teams, contributing to applied AI across client data and business problems, while growing your skills in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, AI, data science, software engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on Python experience through work, internships, or projects.
• Ability to approach unclear problems with questions, hypotheses, experiments, and evidence.
• Willingness to write clean code, tests and technical documentation.
• Experience with Git and automated development pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Build and configure AI agents using code-based tools and orchestration flows.
• Analyze agent behavior, identify failure patterns, and improve reliability.
• Run feasibility studies with data analysis and prototypes.
• Productize successful experiments into reusable components.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, product owners and domain experts; share findings.
