Netcompany Belgium seeks an AI Specialist to design, develop, test and deploy AI-driven solutions across enterprise platforms and services. You will pilot AI projects, build scalable architectures, and collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI capabilities.

You will work in an agile environment leveraging FastAPI, Python, Java, and modern MLOps practices, with a focus on responsible digitalisation and continuous learning in a hybrid Belgian workplace.

Qualifications

• University degree in CS/IT/AI/Data Science or related field.
• Experience with Python and Java for data analytics and AI.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, including design, evaluation and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and AI APIs.
• Understanding of AI solution architecture, containerisation, private cloud, CI/CD and MLOps.
• Experience with AI frameworks like FastAPI, Spring Boot and Flask; and with Qdrant and document processing is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences in English; French is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, ETL/ELT, data modelling, orchestration tools and data visualisation would be an asset.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, develop, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions, proof of concepts, pilots and production apps.
• Contribute to enterprise AI platforms, chatbots, and related AI services rollout.
• Support automation and optimization of document management and knowledge retrieval using AI.
• Develop Generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and AI APIs.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable AI solutions and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare architecture deliverables and reusable building blocks for AI platforms.
• Participate in deployment, scaling, monitoring, and production support of AI solutions.
• Contribute to AI standards, best practices, training, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
