Job summary

EASI, a Belgian company, is looking for a Junior Accounting Officer to handle general and cost accounting using Adfinity. After extensive training, you will encode and validate invoices, manage VAT declarations, and support monthly closings across different structures.

You will work in a dynamic, innovative, paperless environment with in-house software, offering growth opportunities, a competitive package, and chances to become a shareholder after several years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Master preferred).

Responsibilities

• Encode and validate invoices and financial publications.
• Take care of VAT declarations and be SPOC for this purpose.
• Ensure follow-up and payment of customer invoices.
• Participate in closing activities of different structures.
• Process data imported into the accounting system and analyze it.
• Write reports and KPIs in BI tools.
• Participate in monthly reporting tasks.

As a Junior Accounting Officer, you will work with our own accounting software Adfinity , for all aspects of Easi's general and cost accounting.

Your tasks are diverse and allow you to have a varied daily life and to evolve constantly.Your work strengthens our team and allows us to take it to the next level.

After extensive training from our top experts, you will:

• Encode and validate invoices and financial publications
• Take care of VAT declarationsand be SPOC for this purpose
• Ensure the follow-up and payment of customer invoices
• Participate in the closing of the activities of our different structures
• Ensure the processing of data imported into the accounting system, analyze them and evaluate the various parameters
• Write reports and KPIs in our business intelligence tools
• Participation in monthly reporting tasks
  

Your role is not limited to these tasks, you will also be involved in:

• Support the preparation of financial statements, annual audits and project audits
• Conduct periodic financial analyses to identify and address problems, gaps and variances
• Ensure the completeness of high-quality accounting records
• Assist colleagues with financial matters
• Proactively and on request provide other financial information to internal and external stakeholders
  

Depending on your professional and personal development, your responsibilities will be more extensive and diversified.

Must-have :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, possibly with a Master’s degree in management/finance
