Overview

As an Accounting Consultant for the FInsights department, your mission is to become a trusted financial partner for our customers who use Adfinity, our financial software. Your role will be to advise and support customers in their use of the software. You will work with our own financial software for everything related to general and cost accounting. After having followed a thorough training from our best experts in the field, you will have to:

Responsibilities

• Participate in the closing cycle of the client's accounts
• Validate accounts/annexes
• Work on reconciliations
• Auditing in the broadest sense: monthly/quarterly controls
• Regular reporting/KPI
• Encoding
• Assistance in starting up Adfinity: setting up the VAT declaration, calculating VAT, etc.
• Handling the usual accounting tasks
• Provide first line coaching and support to accounting users
• Review with users the different flows set up
• Providing clients with assistance in the encoding of accounting documents
• Advising clients as a specialised Adfinity accountant
• Provide training to end users
• Documenting specific flows
• Travel to clients 3 to 4 days/week

Must-have

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, possibly supplemented by a master's degree in finance/management with an accounting orientation
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Able to hold commercial discussions
• Ability to spot an opportunity that was not initially foreseen
• Good knowledge of Dutch
• Ability to think outside the box and take initiative to achieve the goal
• Strong interpersonal skills, lots of customer contact
• Good with numbers
