Aubay Belgium is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead IT projects end-to-end in a dynamic environment in Belgium.

You will act as the central point of coordination between technical teams, business stakeholders, external partners and management, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as Technical Project Manager on complex IT projects (5+ years).
• Operational experience in API gateway containerisation (Axway) + Adabas/legacy systems modernization + Java versioning.
• Cybersecurity & NIS2 compliance projects (infra) / Google Cloud projects.
• IAM & Secret Management / HashiCorp Vault / other infra projects.
• Fluent in English and at least one official language.

• Define project structure and approach plans (scenarios, timelines, budget).
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.

On behalf of our client operating in the public sector, we are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to take full ownership of technical IT projects in a dynamic environment.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will autonomously manage the complete lifecycle of technical projects, from initiation and planning through implementation, delivery, and closure. You will act as the central point of coordination between technical teams, business stakeholders, external partners, and management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the defined quality standards.

Tasks:

Here are the main tasks that we’ll be involved in:

• Lead end-to-end management of IT projects (planning, budget, scope, quality, risks)
• Define project structure, approach plans (scenarios, timelines, budget…)
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Track progress closely and report status, issues and risks
• Coordinate, motivate and coach the project team members
• Apply solid project methodologies and best practices

Profile:

• Strong experience as Technical Project Manager on complex IT projects (+5 years)
• Proven operational experience in at least one of the following domains:
• Containerisation of API Gateway (Axway) + Adabas databases / legacy system modernisation / Java application versioning
• Cybersecurity & NIS2 compliance projects (infrastructure support) / Google Public Cloud projects
• IAM & Secret Management / HashiCorp Vault / other infrastructure projects
• Fluent in English and proficient in at least one of the country's official languages.
