ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead high-impact IT and transformation initiatives with a focus on governance, change management, and stakeholder coordination.

You will manage IT projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, effective governance, and successful delivery across complex programs. The role emphasizes plan–build–run environments and ongoing PMO involvement, including reporting and portfolio prioritization.

Responsabilités

• Manage IT projects and programs end-to-end with governance.
• Define and maintain project, resource, risk, communication, and quality plans.
• Coordinate business, IT, suppliers, and consultants.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, resources, and change requests.
• Organize project meetings, workshops, and steering committees.
• Prepare management and financial reporting and monitor budgets.
• Support prioritization of a strategic project portfolio.
• Contribute to setup and management of PMOs.
• Ensure quality of deliverables and supplier commitments.
• Share lessons learned and best practices.

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead high-impact IT and transformation projects. You will work on complex initiatives with a strong focus on governance, change management, and stakeholder coordination.

Your responsibilities

You will manage IT projects and programs end-to-end, ensuring successful delivery, alignment with strategic objectives, and effective governance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and deliverables.
• Defining and maintaining project, resource, risk, communication, and quality plans.
• Coordinating business, IT, suppliers, and consultants.
• Identifying and managing risks, dependencies, resources, and change requests.
• Organizing project meetings, workshops, and steering committees.
• Preparing management and financial reporting and monitoring project budgets.
• Supporting senior management in the prioritization of a strategic project portfolio.
• Ensuring effective governance within Plan–Build–Run environments.
• Contributing to the setup and management of strategic and operational PMOs.
• Ensuring the quality of deliverables and compliance with supplier commitments.
• Contributing to continuous improvement, lessons learned, and the sharing of best practices.

Your profile

You have extensive experience in IT project and program management, ideally within complex and transformation-oriented environments.

We are looking for:

• 15+ years of experience in project and program management.
• Expert-level skills in Change Management, Risk Management, and Resource Management.
• Strong expertise in project and program governance and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budget management.
• Experience working in Plan–Build–Run environments.
• Proven experience setting up and managing strategic and operational PMOs.
• Experience in Release Management is a plus.
• Experience in public-sector transformation projects is an advantage.

Preferred certifications

• PRINCE2, PMP/PMI, or an equivalent project management certification.
• Scaled Agile certification.
• Change Management certification, such as ADKAR or equivalent.

Languages

• Dutch: Professional working proficiency
