Job summary

In4Matic is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a long-term consulting engagement in a complex IT environment. You will translate business and technical needs into clear requirements and help transition from project delivery to operations.

The role involves analysing IT infrastructure, defining processes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure scalable, well-documented solutions. English proficiency required, Dutch or French a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or ICT project support.
• Experience in complex IT environments, preferably within public-sector organisations.
• Familiarity with business process modelling, requirements management, and project tracking methodologies and tools.
• Experience with MS Visio, JIRA, and Confluence, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions and the definition of monitoring parameters is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing IT infrastructure and contribute to target architecture setup.
• Assess system interactions and integration requirements between technologies.
• Define and document business processes, functional requirements, and technical specs.
• Identify tasks, dependencies, risks, bottlenecks, and potential mitigations.
• Track progress, maintain logs, contribute to quality management, ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Transfer knowledge to facilitate operational readiness and continuity.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders across teams.
• Contribute to long-term evolution of the IT landscape with scalability and privacy considerations.
