Job summary

BWC is seeking an IT Solution Lead Service for its clients in Brussels, Belgium. This full-time permanent role (hybrid 50% onsite / 50% teleworking in Belgium) requires fluency in English and either French or Dutch, with a strong focus on Microsoft-based solutions.

You will lead delivery, align business requirements with technical solutions, guide architecture and ensure security and compliance within IT service management practices.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical leadership, solution delivery, application management or IT project implementation.
• Experience in a Microsoft-oriented technology stack (e.g. .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Good understanding of cloud and integration technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure, APIs and containerization.
• Experience with fit-gap analyses, requirements definition, and software selection processes.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, security, compliance and IT service management processes.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for the IT implementation of assigned projects, from solution definition through deployment and operations.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Contribute to solution architecture and ensure alignment with IT standards.
• Coordinate with internal platforms during delivery and operations.
• Provide technical expertise on software components and advise on technology choices and budgets.
• Lead build, deployment and operational support of Microsoft-based solutions (e.g., .NET).
• Manage integration and adaptation of off-the-shelf solutions within the IT landscape.
• Support incident, problem and maintenance management with SLA/KPI oversight.

• Contribute to solution architecture and ensure technical solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements while adhering to internal IT, security, and technology standards.
• Coordinate with internal functional and technical platforms throughout both delivery and operational phases.
• Provide technical expertise on software components and advise on technology choices, resource needs, and IT budget estimates.
• Lead the build, deployment, and operational support of custom-developed solutions, primarily based on Microsoft technologies such as .NET.
• Manage the integration and adaptation of off-the-shelf (OTS) solutions within the broader IT landscape.
• Perform fit-gap analyses and contribute to technical evaluations, RFI/RFP processes, and software selection activities.
• Support incident, problem, and maintenance management by monitoring suppliers, SLA/KPI performance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
