Econocom Belgium is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable IT infrastructures across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will work on Windows and Linux systems, network configurations, and cybersecurity practices while supporting project delivery and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in IT infrastructure with experience in AWS/Azure, networking, and scripting.

To support our growth and strategic digital projects, we are looking for a versatile and experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join our team.

Your Role

As an IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will contribute to the architecture, implementation, and management of secure, scalable IT infrastructures. You will act as a technical reference point on system engineering, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and network technologies while supporting project delivery and continuous improvement efforts.

This is a cross-functional role, ideal for profiles such as: System Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, Linux/Windows Engineer, Network Engineer, Solution Architect, or Infrastructure Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support infrastructure solutions (on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments).

Your Profile

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in IT infrastructure roles.
• Broad technical knowledge across:Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, or equivalent (certification is a plus).
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls.
• Security: Endpoint protection, identity/access management, patching, SIEM tools.
• Familiar with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Git.
• Experience in leading or contributing to IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in French and Dutch (English is a plus).

Nice to Have

• Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
• DevOps or automation background.
