Bleckmann seeks an IT Automation Engineer to drive automation rollouts in warehousing. You will bridge suppliers, warehouse operations, and IT to deliver go-live and support, ensuring scalable and cost-efficient solutions across sites.

Required are 5-7 years in IT project mgmt or automation within logistics. You’ll work on-site with LEAP, WMS, and automation vendors, with hybrid work options depending on location.

Qualifications

• Understand warehouse needs and translate into functional/technical requirements.
• Collaborate with IT infra, networking, and WMS teams to ensure feasibility.
• Analyze data to drive automation improvements.
• Familiarity with automation hardware and API-based integrations is a plus.
• Willingness to work closely with suppliers and operations on site.

Responsabilités

• Gather requirements from warehouse operations for new automation projects.
• Translate requirements into specs, process flows, and interface definitions with vendors.
• Analyze current processes to identify automation value and design adjustments.
• Validate designs through site visits, testing, and feedback loops.
• Act as main contact between suppliers, operations, IT teams, and LEAP implementation.
• Coordinate project planning, milestones, and issue tracking with suppliers and site teams.
• Work hands-on with LEAP implementation on site during rollout.
• Lead workshops and design/kick-off sessions across IT and operations.
• Provide regular status updates to management and site stakeholders.
• Stay informed on warehouse automation trends and propose improvements.
