Job summary

Bleckmann seeks an IT Applications Support Engineer focused on warehouse automation to ensure stable daily operation of AutoStore, KCC WCS, and integrate with Manhattan WMS and Blue Yonder Dispatcher across live production environments.

You will act as the primary IT contact for automation platforms and suppliers, collaborating with warehouse operations and IT teams to maintain end-to-end processes. Dutch language is a plus, travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience/certifications.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT application support, operations, or a technical support role (strong internship experience is welcome).
• Affinity with logistics or warehousing environments.
• Knowledge of Manhattan WMS (Active Omni) and/or Blue Yonder Dispatcher (JDA) is a major advantage.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong advantage.
• SQL or basic scripting knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line software support for AutoStore and KCC WCS across Bleckmann sites, with focus on the Dutch region.
• Log, triage, and follow up on incidents in TopDesk using the P1–P4 priority framework.
• Diagnose issues across the end-to-end automation stack, including WMS–WCS communication errors and TCP/IP issues.
• Serve as the daily point of contact for automation suppliers and coordinate ticket follow-up.
• Monitor dashboards, health checks, and alerting to identify risk signals.
• Support maintenance windows, software updates, and regression testing after releases or patches.
• Analyse logs and interface data to identify recurring issues and contribute to improvements.
• Maintain internal knowledge base articles and runbooks.
• Support change requests and evaluate impact on the automation ecosystem.
• Collaborate with WMS support, infra teams, and warehouse ops for end-to-end reliability.
