A&O Shearman operates its IT team from Brussels and Antwerp, with the IT Analyst role serving as the first line of technical support to maintain seamless IT operations. Based in Belgium, you will handle incident resolution, service requests and contribute to regional IT initiatives.

You will oversee audiovisual systems and assist with local network management, while helping business-service teams maintain their technical setups in Antwerp.

Qualifications

• Experience in a IT support role or service desk environment.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Windows/macOS and standard office software.
• Willingness to support audiovisual and network-related tasks.

Responsabilités

• Follow up and escalate service desk tickets and requests (new joiner, leaver, etc).
• Deliver desk-side support to the employees and clients of the firm.
• Hands-on support to ensure the smooth organisation of meetings and events.
• Assist onboarding of new joiners and guide setup of our systems and devices.
• Maintain device rental inventory up to date.
• Join a dedicated team and gain expert knowledge on internal support systems.

We have an exciting opportunity for a IT Analyst to join our IT team, based in A&O Shearman's Brussels and Antwerp Offices.

The IT analyst in Antwerp serves as the first line of technical support, handling incident resolution and service requests to maintain seamless IT operations. In addition to troubleshooting hardware and software issues, the analyst plays a key part in broader regional IT initiatives throughout Belgium and offers backup support to the Brussels office.

The position further encompasses a supporting function in overseeing the office’s audiovisual systems and assisting with the day-to-day management of the local network infrastructure. Finally, the analyst helps business-service teams administer and maintain their technical setups within the Antwerp location.

What Will You Do

• You will be responsible for the correct follow-up and escalation of service desk tickets and requests (new joiner, leaver, etc).
• You will deliver professional desk side support to the employees and clients of the firm.
• Your hands-on support will ensure the smooth organisation of meetings and events.
• You will be involved in the onboarding of new joiners and will guide new users through the setup of our systems and devices.
• With your strong organisational skills you keep the device rental inventory up to date.
• You will join a dedicated team and gain expert knowledge on our internal support systems.
