EASI is offering an exciting internship for a Technical Engineer in Belgium, providing you with hands-on experience in Microsoft projects. You'll work closely with our experienced Engineers and Project Managers, focusing on automation and security in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

You will join our growing Microsoft Delivery team, which is responsible for delivering various Microsoft projects for clients.

This internship consists of both a project assignment (which can serve as a bachelor’s thesis) and various practical assignments.

Your internship consists on the one hand of a project you can fully focus on, and on the other hand of various practical assignments. The ideal combination for an engaging internship!

Project Assignment

During your project, you will focus on implementing an automation or process within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, more specifically Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps. A strong focus on security will be essential. The assignment will be shaped in consultation with you to achieve a strong final result together.

Practical Assignments

The practical assignments aim to introduce you to the different aspects of a job as a system/technical engineer. These assignments will be as diverse as possible and will be further defined during the internship, depending on the active projects during your internship period. These assignments are always carried out under the supervision of your internship mentor.

During the internship, you will be exposed to many IT aspects, including system administration, cloud solutions such as Microsoft Azure, security aspects to keep client environments protected, migrations, etc.

Under the guidance of our experienced Engineers and Project Managers, you will learn how to:

• Design and implement Microsoft‑based IT infrastructures
• Focus on security aspects within client environments, including Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel
• Manage and maintain systems with a focus on Microsoft Server and cloud solutions
• Perform assessments of Microsoft environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents
• Configure, adapt, and test new features from a virtual lab environment to go‑live in production at the client
• Explore the full Microsoft ecosystem: Microsoft Defender, M365, Azure, Intune, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
