EASI is seeking an intern for fall 2026 or spring 2027 to join our Azure team in Oost-Vlaanderen. This role offers hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure technologies, contributing to cloud projects under the guidance of experienced engineers. You will assist with Azure implementations, manage infrastructure, and explore automation solutions. Fluency in Dutch and a passion for cloud tech is essential.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT.

We are looking for an intern for the fall of 2026 or the spring of 2027.

Are you passionate about Microsoft Azure, Cloud Infrastructure, and modern IT platforms? Do you want to gain hands‑on experience within a team that positions itself as an Azure Expert in the Benelux?

Then this internship is for you.

You will join our Azure team that supports companies in building, securing, and modernizing their cloud platforms. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative Azure environments and modern cloud architectures within enterprise customer environments.

This internship combines:

• A project assignment (possibly as a bachelor thesis)
• Intensive guidance from experienced Azure Engineers

You will have the opportunity to work with modern Azure technologies such as:

• Azure Local & Hybrid solutions
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Azure Security & Governance
• Automation & Monitoring
• Backup & Disaster Recovery

Your primary location will be our site in Ronse.

Additionally, it is possible to complete part of your internship from our site in Ghent. Together, we will determine what best fits your internship, learning goals, and the ongoing team projects.

During your internship, you will work on various Azure‑related tasks and projects.

Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will learn to:

• Assist with Azure implementations and migrations
• Set up and manage Azure infrastructure
• Work with hybrid cloud environments
• Support automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
• Help build secure and scalable cloud solutions
• Monitor and optimize Azure environments
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure
• Test and validate new configurations in lab and production environments
• Document solutions and technical procedures

The specific tasks will be aligned with your interests, knowledge level, and active projects during the internship period.

Project Assignment

During your project, you will focus on modern Azure infrastructure and automation.

The assignment will mainly consist of:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Automation within Azure environments

The exact scope of the project will be defined together with you, ensuring a challenging and educational outcome aligned with your interests and studies.

Must-haves:

• You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT
• Strong interest in Microsoft Azure and Cloud technology
• Eager to learn and motivated mindset
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving attitude
• Fluent in Dutch (C2)

Nice-to-haves:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Interest in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep, …)
• Basic knowledge of networking or server infrastructure
• Interest in cloud security and governance
• Interest in hybrid infrastructure and modern cloud architectures
