Job summary

MSF is recruiting for the OCB Safeguarding Lead to steer safeguarding strategy, policy, and culture across MSF programmes worldwide. You will oversee complex case management, drive policy embedding, and lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe programming and continuous improvement.

The role requires extensive experience in safeguarding within international NGOs, strong leadership, and the ability to work with governance bodies and external stakeholders across borders.

Qualifications

• Relevant safeguarding, ethics, law or related qualification.
• SEAH investigation qualifications (e.g. CHS Tier 3 or equivalent).
• Minimum five years in a strategic role within a complex organisation.
• Experience in international NGO environments and cross-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead safeguarding strategy, policy and culture for OCB globally.
• Oversee case management and reporting SOPs within safeguarding.
• Drive staff capacity building and safeguarding policy embedding.
• Manage resources, budget and safeguarding team performance.
• Engage with stakeholders and represent OCB in sector forums.
