Job summary

MSF-OCB is seeking a Safeguarding Lead to provide strategic leadership and direction for safeguarding across OCB’s global programmes. You will ensure coordination, consistency, and oversight of MSF-wide safeguarding efforts, while maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive investigations.

You will lead the Safeguarding Unit, working with the Executive Leadership Team and governance bodies to embed safeguarding across programmes and external engagements, including

Qualifications

Seasoned professional with experience in strategic leadership and safeguarding in complex organisations.
Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and governance bodies.
Track record of leading multicultural teams and managing confidential investigations.

Responsibilities

Lead the safeguarding strategy and culture across OCB operations.
Oversee safeguarding systems, policies, and SOPs within the unit.
Manage and develop the Safeguarding Team and safeguard unit budget.
Collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure safe recruitment and safeguarding practices.
Represent OCB in external safeguarding engagements and sector-wide discussions.
