Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Brussels invites an experienced Safeguarding Lead to drive policy, strategy and culture across its safeguarding framework. You will lead complex investigations, oversee case management, and ensure safeguarding remains integral to all MSF operations globally.

The role requires strategic leadership, five+ years in similar senior positions within international NGOs, and a proven ability to build collaborations with governance bodies, programs, and HR to safeguard

Qualifications

Minimum five years in a strategic role within a complex organisation.
Experience in an international NGO, UN agency or comparable environment.
Experience leading safeguarding investigations and managing sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for safeguarding strategy, policy, and culture across MSF-OCB.
Lead safeguarding across global programmes and ensure embedding throughout MSF.
Represent MSF internationally and build strategic sector relationships.
Oversee safeguarding resources, budget, and team development.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding standards and case management SOPs.
