CareerBee represents a client, a European market leader in advanced infrared imaging technology, seeking a Systems Integration & Product Release Engineer. The role centers on transferring infrared camera systems from R&D to production, ensuring robust testing and documentation for reliable manufacturing and customer use.

You will own product-release activities across several products and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, applied physics, embedded systems or comparable field.
• At least four years of experience in system testing, systems integration, validation, product engineering or industrialization.
• Experience with complex products combining electronics, software/firmware and mechanical components.
• Hands-on system-level testing, debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to understand the complete product beyond one component.
• Interest in broader ownership of product readiness, release and transfer.
• Very good English skills.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of the technical handover of new infrared camera systems and product changes from R&D into production.
• Manage product-release activities across multiple products and product ranges.
• Define requirements for successful transfer and ensure testing and documentation deliverables are completed.
• Identify risks, missing information and unresolved issues before production transfer.
• Coordinate resolution of release-related issues across R&D, systems engineering, quality, industrialization and production.
• Understand the complete product including electronics, firmware, software, optics and mechanics.
• Ensure adequate system-level testing is completed as a prerequisite for product release.
• Define and coordinate testing activities and perform selected tests.
• Investigate technical failures across hardware, firmware, software, interfaces, mechanics and test equipment.
