CareerBee client, a fast-growing European high-tech manufacturing group, is seeking an Equipment & Facilities Engineer in Tienen (Greater Leuven Area) to own production equipment and critical facility systems for infrared camera production.

You will help ensure reliability, availability and scalability of technology behind the manufacturing process, coordinating maintenance, budgets and supplier relationships in an international, initiative-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field
• First professional experience with industrial equipment, maintenance, facilities or manufacturing engineering
• A practical, hands‑on mindset combined with structured engineering skills
• Interest in high‑tech production environments
• Experience with cleanrooms, vacuum technology, HVAC or semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage, but not essential
• Good English skills; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage

Responsabilités

• Ensure the availability and reliability of production equipment used in infrared camera manufacturing
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify sustainable solutions
• Monitor and support critical facility systems, including HVAC and vacuum systems
• Define spare-parts requirements and help establish an effective inventory
• Support maintenance and equipment budget planning
• Coordinate suppliers, equipment manufacturers and external service providers
• Work closely with Process Engineering and Production to understand processes and improve equipment performance
