CareerBee is seeking a Camera Production / Manufacturing Engineer to join a high-tech manufacturing environment focused on advanced infrared camera systems. You will act as the technical lead for camera production, solve manufacturing challenges, and drive improvements in yield, throughput, and quality while supporting new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics or related technical field.
• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrialization, or NPI.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to collaborate with operators, technicians, engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Python knowledge or willingness to develop these skills.
• Experience with camera systems, imaging products, optics, photonics, sensors or other high-tech products is an advantage.
• Dutch language skills or willingness to learn Dutch to communicate with operators and production teams.

Responsabilités

• Act as the technical point of contact for manufacturing and assembly-related issues in camera production.
• Troubleshoot production challenges, perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
• Drive improvements in yield, throughput, quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support the transfer of new camera products from R&D into production and help ensure manufacturable product designs.
• Contribute to the scaling of production lines, testing stations and manufacturing processes as volumes grow.
• Work closely with Operations, R&D, Quality and Production teams to continuously improve manufacturing performance.
• Use data analysis and Python-based tools to support process optimization and automation initiatives.
