CareerBee in Belgium seeks an Equipment & Facilities Engineer to own production equipment and critical facility systems for infrared camera manufacturing in Tienen.

You will plan preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Process Engineering and Production to improve equipment performance. The role offers a permanent contract in a fast-growing high-tech group with international exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• First professional experience with industrial equipment, maintenance, facilities or manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on mindset with structured engineering skills.
• Interest in high-tech production environments.
• Experience with cleanrooms, vacuum technology, HVAC or semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the availability and reliability of production equipment used in infrared camera manufacturing.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify sustainable solutions.
• Monitor and support critical facility systems, including HVAC and vacuum systems.
• Define spare-parts requirements and help establish an effective inventory.
• Support maintenance and equipment budget planning.
• Coordinate suppliers, equipment manufacturers and external service providers.
• Work closely with Process Engineering and Production to understand processes and improve equipment performance.
