Netcompany Belgium is hiring a Data Engineer to design and develop data pipelines, integrate data across systems, and prepare data for reporting and analytics. You will work with relational databases and data models, ensuring data quality and performance while supporting migrations and API integrations.

The role requires hands-on experience with SQL and modern data-processing tools, plus programming skills in Python/Java/Scala or similar.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven Data Engineering experience and strong SQL.
• Experience building ETL/ELT or other data pipelines.
• Experience with relational databases and data modelling.
• Programming/scripting experience, commonly Python, Java, Scala or similar.
• Experience with modern data-processing or orchestration tools is useful.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop data pipelines.
• Integrate data from different systems and sources.
• Transform, clean and prepare data for applications, reporting and analytics.
• Work with relational databases and data models and design database structures, relationships and data flows.
• Support data migrations and database changes and ensure data quality, reliability and performance.

• Support deployment and operation of data-processing components.
• Work with AI/ML-related data pipelines and datasets.
