Job summary

Payflip seeks a Legal Lead to raise the legal bar for Belgium's salary super app. You will be the first in-house lawyer, guiding product and client-related legal matters across social, tax and social security law.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years advisory experience in Belgian HR law.
• Expertise in social, tax and social security matters.
• Able to translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance for non-lawyers.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.

Responsibilities

• Own the hard legal questions from lead or client with a clear position and risk assessment.
• Be the legal point of contact for the product team from the start.
• Build and maintain an internal AI-fuelled legal database for non-lawyers.
• Manage relationships with external law firms with clear framing and guidance.
• Ensure features ship with well-identified legal risks and mitigations.
