Payflip BV is hiring its first in-house Legal Lead to own all product- and client-related HR legal questions in Belgium. You will collaborate with sales, success, and product teams and shape legal strategy from day one, including building an AI-powered internal knowledge base and guiding external counsel.

You will ensure clear risk assessments, translate law into actionable steps for clients, and drive pragmatic decisions that support Payflip’s salary super app vision.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years advisory experience in Belgian HR law.
• Solid expertise in social, tax and social security law.
• Translate complex legal concepts for non-lawyers.
• Experience building/maintaining a legal database for internal use.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.

Responsabilités

• Own the hard legal questions from leads and clients.
• Be the product team's legal point of contact from the start.
• Build and own internal AI-fuelled legal database.
• Manage external law firm relationships and framing.
• Ensure product features are legally compliant before ship.
