Cobble - Van de Wiele Limited in Kortrijk is seeking an Implementation Engineer to roll out MES systems at customers worldwide in plastics and textiles, including new installations and upgrades, with on-site configuration.

You’ll train users, provide remote support from HQ, collaborate with Installation, Service, and Development teams, and occasionally travel abroad to connect with customers and experience different cultures.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ICT/NMCT/electronics or equivalent MES experience.
• Knowledge of Windows systems and relational databases is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and communicate in multiple languages.

• Ready to take on the world? Because in this role you’ll implement MES systems at our customers in the plastics and textile industry worldwide. This includes both new installations as implementing upgrades.
• You’ll be prepping installations and fine-tuning applications to ensure a smooth installation at the customer.
• You’ll install and configure the software on-site, taking into account the specific needs of the customer. You’ll be a guru to our customers: you’ll guide, train and support them when they start using our systems.
• You will be part of a larger worldwide team but in this role your colleagues from the Installation and Service team and the Development team will be your work besties.
• When you're not out in the field, you'll be the go-to guy or girl for our HQ, providing top‑notch remote support to our customers. It's your change to dive into challenges, solve issues, and keep things running smoothly.

Let's talk you

• You hold a Master's degree in ICT, NMCT, electronics or have an equivalent knowledge about MES gained through hands‑on experience. We also offer technically skilled school leavers the opportunity to embark on an adventure with us.
• Knowledge of Windows systems and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus, just like basic knowledge of MES or ERP systems.
• You're open to the occasional trip abroad to connect with our customers and experience different cultures.
• As an autonomous, customer‑oriented, and stress‑resistant person, you thrive on finding solutions and delivering top‑notch service. Fluent communication and killer teamwork skills are a must.
• You can express yourself practically in different languages. Fluency in English is a must, and you should be confident communicating in at least two additional languages to support our global customer base effectively.
