Job summary

Philips is seeking a Field Service Engineer for IGT Systems to deliver hands-on and remote support for diagnostic imaging equipment across Belgium. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade products while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

You will document activities, plan service visits, and follow structured processes, acting as a trusted resource for the assigned business groups. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in imaging service or 4+ years in electromechanical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Vocational Education, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent in Engineering, Medical Sciences, or a related scientific field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging service environment or minimum 4 years in Electromechanical industries; CT experience and OEM training preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers technical support onsite and remote, performing troubleshooting, repair, upgrades and installation with growing independence
• Documents service activities with diagnostics, resolution steps, test procedures, and case status
• Works under limited supervision, applying independent judgment to navigate policies and ensure quality
• Acts as a specialized resource, providing expert support to assigned business groups
• Tracks and records service activities with high accuracy for transparency and improvements
• Prepares for service visits by diagnosing issues, organizing parts, and planning actions for first-visit resolution
• Addresses customer escalations and feedback, coordinating timely solutions
• Executes moderately to complex field service tasks using diagnostic tools and techniques
• Identifies potential upsell opportunities during visits to support growth
• Develops technical expertise and continues learning to improve service delivery
• Participation in the 24/7 duty
