The European School Brussels II invites applications for an ICT Assistant to manage and optimize the IT infrastructure in a multilingual, international setting. You will administer Windows 11/Server, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, manage the network (HP/Aruba), deploy PCs with SCCM, and provide user support.

We seek at least 1 year ICT experience, and fluency in English, French and Dutch, along with strong planning and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year ICT experience.
• Knowledge of Office 365, networking infra, backup solutions, software and hardware.
• Good command of English, French and Dutch.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Good resistance to stress.
• Interest in new technologies.
• Ability to communicate efficiently.
• Experience from an international work environment is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Manage, maintain and optimize the IT infrastructure.
• Administer Windows 11, Windows Server, Hyper‑V, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure (HP/Aruba).
• Deploy and configure PCs using SCCM.
• Provide technical support to end users and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and system failures.
• Improve IT security and manage access rights, security updates and patches.
• Participate in IT infrastructure, networking and security projects.
• Implement new technologies and continuously improve existing IT systems.
• Maintain technical documentation and IT procedures.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues on larger IT projects and support each other whenever needed.
• Keep up to date with the latest IT technologies, infrastructure developments and cybersecurity best practices.
