ENGIBEX, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, invites a capable engineer to join its R&D Test Center to operate and develop advanced test rigs for hybrid powertrains. The role emphasizes precision, innovation, and rigorous maintenance to ensure testing quality.

You will collaborate with validation, test engineering, and other R&D teams to optimize processes, develop tools, and standardize operations using KPIs. A mechatronics-oriented mindset and strong programming skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with interest in mechatronic systems.
• Ability to understand complex systems in a test environment.
• Programming background required.
• Knowledge of control theory, structural dynamics, and high voltage applications.
• Knowledge of automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition, test equipment and electro mechanics.

Responsabilités

• Operate and develop advanced test rigs for hybrid powertrains.
• Take ownership of test rigs, ensuring high-quality operation and routine maintenance.
• Develop test rig hardware and software with focus on innovation and precision.
• Act as primary contact for operational issues and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with validation, test engineering, operators, and R&D teams to optimize testing.
• Develop tools and documentation to standardize operations and improve KPIs.
• Work in the R&D Test Center assembling and validating automatic transmissions, hybrids, and powertrains.
