Nexeo is seeking an Expert IT Functional Analyst to join Belgium’s leading banking institution, focusing on international payments and payment products. You will bridge business needs with technical teams to define functional and technical solutions.

The role requires strong API/OpenAPI experience, enterprise IT understanding, and Agile/Scrum delivery in a multidisciplinary environment with a modern tech stack including APIs, Java and potential Blockchain/DLT. Hybrid work model in Brussels area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Strong experience with complex IT systems and enterprise applications.
• Good understanding of both functional and technical IT concepts.
• Experience with APIs and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong knowledge of banking and payment products.
• Experience analysing payment processes and business requirements.
• Good understanding of business and functional analysis methodologies.
• Practical experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsabilités

• Analyse business needs and requirements related to international payments and payment products.
• Support Business Analysts and clients in identifying IT solutions.
• Propose alternative solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, security standards and IT strategy.
• Work closely with architects to define the overall solution architecture.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate business requirements into Features and User Stories.
• Act as the interface between business stakeholders, Business Analysts and technical/asset teams.
• Coordinate the different IT teams involved in the delivery of a solution.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
