Nexeo is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to bridge business needs and IT in a dynamic Agile banking environment. You will translate requirements into functional solutions and ensure alignment with architecture while supporting the full delivery lifecycle.

This hybrid role combines analysis, design and stakeholder management across interfaces and data flows, with collaboration among Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects and developers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years as Functional Analyst or similar.
• Experience in complex IT environments and system integration.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Banking sector experience is a strong asset.

? Nexeo is looking for a Functional Analyst

To support the delivery of strategic banking initiatives, we are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst to join a dynamic Agile environment within a leading financial institution.

You will act as the bridge between Business and IT, translating business needs into detailed functional solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, technical constraints and business objectives. You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, deployment and production support.

Your role

As a Functional Analyst, you will:

• Analyze business challenges and requirements, proposing efficient and sustainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects and technical teams to define target solutions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and solution designs.
• Perform impact analyses on applications, processes, interfaces and data flows.
• Define functional responsibilities across different systems and assets involved in the solution.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
• Support developers by providing clear functional guidance and specifications.
• Participate in integration, assembly and acceptance testing activities.
• Analyze defects, coordinate issue resolution and ensure solution quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support release and deployment activities across different environments.
• Investigate and coordinate the resolution of production incidents while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Contribute actively to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience as Functional Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience within complex IT environments and system integration projects.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
• Ability to collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Banking sector experience is considered a strong asset.
