Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to manage scalable cloud platforms and big data analytics infra. You will support DevOps within complex environments, maintain operations with the engineering team, and drive automation and security across the stack.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes experience with Helm, and strong Linux admin skills.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a technical field.
5+ years of experience with cloud apps on AWS, Azure or GCP.
Experience in Kubernetes environments and Helm charts.
Proficient in CI/CD, configuration and automation: Terraform, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Packer.
Experienced in Linux-native environments (CentOS/RedHat/Alma Linux).
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for cloud environments and ICT infra solutions.
Experience with virtualization technologies (Docker, VMware, OpenStack) and migration projects.
Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
Native Dutch with fluent English.

Responsibilities

Support DevOps and project-specific requirements within complex cloud environments.
Maintain and operate the infrastructure with the engineering team.
Resolve configuration and IaC tickets for internal projects.
Deploy and support new components in the software stack and public cloud environments.
Analyze system issues using monitoring/metrics to improve efficiency.
Implement security best practices across the infrastructure.
Collaborate with IT architects and engineers to optimize stack components.
