act digital is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement and manage cloud-native solutions in an Azure environment. You will build and maintain automated infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, and DevOps practices with a strong emphasis on IaC.

• Experience writing Terraform configurations and modules.
• Strong Azure Cloud knowledge and networking basics.
• Experience with containerized apps (Docker) and orchestration (AKS).
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps.
• Proficient scripting in Bash/PowerShell/Python.
• Ability to translate designs into Terraform code.
• Experience with logging/monitoring (Grafana/Prometheus).

We are looking for a talented Cloud Platform Engineer to join a dynamic technology team and contribute to the design, implementation, and management of cloud-native solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to build and maintain automated cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, and DevOps practices within a modern Azure environment. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code, cloud platforms, automation, and container technologies.

Tasks

• Developing, Testing, Debugging, and Troubleshooting of Containerized Infrastructure.
• Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large and small-scale systems.
• Ensure solutions are well-engineered, maintainable, and delivered on schedule.
• Work with business and engineering teams to deploy new infrastructure in our Azure Platform.
• Monitor the availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Communicate status and risks to the product and Management teams.
• Help automate and streamline operations and processes.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Significant experience writing Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules. Good Knowledge in OpenTofu/Biceps is a plus.
• Solid experience in deploying/securing distributed apps with containers (Docker) & orchestration (Azure Kubernetes). Solid experience in ArgoCD, Helm, etc.
• Experience in DevOps and GitOps models with infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code, etc.
• Proficient in translating designs into fully developed Terraform code.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud (certification is a plus).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security.
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments, building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Understanding of landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Experience with containers related technologies and CI/CD tools, DevOps, pipelines, container repos, etc.
• Experience in programming and infra-automation tools, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• A deep understanding of Data Platform technologies and ability to work with services like ADF, Databricks, etc.
• Experience in cloud logging, monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
• Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, CLI, Python)

Non-Technical Skills

• Participate in shift/on-call rotations as per operational policy when required (24/7).
• Language: English (French, Dutch and/or German is a plus)
