Job summary

OPTIMUS IT SERVICES is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to elicit, analyse and document requirements for the target credit origination system. You will collaborate with Product Owners, architects and project managers to understand strategies and translate requirements into clear deliverables for designers and developers, while maintaining domain knowledge across projects.

Strong MS Office skills and fluent Dutch, French and English are essential in this Belgium-based role.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant Business Analysis experience.
• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods.
• Strong expertise in MS Office and a good understanding of IT, software testing and requirements management.
• Good understanding of business workflow processes.
• Mandatory strong written and spoken communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, with a structured and independent approach to work.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business, stakeholder, solution and transition requirements for the target credit origination system.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, project managers and subject matter experts to understand business and technology strategies and maintain domain knowledge across projects.
• Analyse and design business processes, defining detailed product requirements, use cases and functional specifications.
• Translate requirements into clear deliverables for designers and development teams, ensuring a shared understanding of business needs.
• Define application performance metrics and goals in collaboration with project managers, architects and technical teams.
• Support the preparation of test conditions and expected results for product testing, performance testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage requirements traceability, impact analysis and coverage throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in quality management reviews of designs, prototypes and requirements deliverables.
• Drive the Business Analysis requirements management strategy and coordinate BA activities across project phases.
• Manage dependencies with internal and external development teams and act as a liaison between business and technology stakeholders.
