Job summary

Isabel Group in Belgium seeks an Application Architect to contribute to the Verified Data domain. You will shape solution designs, promote architecture documentation as code using the C4 model, and guide delivery teams without hands-on coding.

You will analyze legacy and modern systems, drive modernization roadmaps, and ensure alignment with technology strategy. Fluent in English and Dutch or French, you will communicate with stakeholders across departments and influence architecture decisions

Qualifications

• Experience in architectural design patterns, microservices and scalable system architectures.
• Proven ability to reduce technical debt and improve system reliability.
• Track record in reliability engineering and performance optimization.
• Understanding of security best practices and governance guidance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, IaC, containers and orchestration tools.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate across teams.
• Adaptability to different development and project management methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and guide modernization roadmaps.
