European Dynamics Group seeks an experienced Application Architect to join the Brussels team and work on complex multi-tier systems. You will design information systems, manage data models, and lead front-end and back-end architecture with Oracle DBMS and modern Java stacks.

On-site collaboration with client IT teams is required. You will apply strong SOA/EA, REST/SOAP middleware, and Agile practices, aiming for secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline with extensive professional background.
• Minimum 15 years of IT experience in architecture and development roles.
• 10+ years in SQL/PLSQL, data modelling, Oracle DBMS and performance tuning.
• 10+ years in SOA/Enterprise Architecture with REST/SOAP and ESB middleware.
• 10+ years in web technologies, design and programming languages and agile practices.
• 10+ years with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and Angular (15+).
• Experience with Gitlab/Atlassian tools, Maven and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong technical documentation and architecture artefacts production.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsabilités

• Architect and design information systems for multi-tier applications.
• Design and maintain database layer and overall data model.
• Lead front-end and back-end design and integration for web apps.
• Develop and maintain component architecture and building blocks.
• Produce architecture documents and technical artefacts.
• Oversee deployment, configuration and optimisation of databases.
• Collaborate with client IT teams on site and ensure quality.
• Follow secure coding practices and implement Spring Security.
