Oper, a European Fintech, is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to join the AI Squad in Antwerp. This hybrid role spans AI engineering, product management, and solutions architecture, building prototypes and turning them into Herman features for banks.

You'll work directly with clients, scope use cases, and own end-to-end delivery while collaborating with a cross-functional team in a fast-growing fintech with stock options, health insurance, and a strong learning culture.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of software development with hands-on AI/LLM work.
• Strong with Python and modern AI tooling: LLMs, RAG, agent frameworks, orchestration, and evaluation.
• Structure projects functionally and own delivery end-to-end, from scoping to shipped feature.
• Comfortable being client-facing: workshops, requirements, and translating ambiguity into working software.
• Fluency in English; Dutch or German is a plus.
• Experience in financial services and scale-up environments is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Scope and build working AI prototypes – LLMs, RAG, agentic automation, and integrations.
• Engage directly with clients: run workshops, gather requirements, demo, and refine solutions.
• Define and manage AI use cases, structuring them for scale beyond a single client.
• Turn validated prototypes into production features with your team.
• Own delivery timelines and communicate progress to clients and stakeholders.
