Laborelec, part of ENGIE, is seeking an Electrical Cable Field Engineer to perform measurements and inspections on industrial cables and plants across Belgium. You will travel frequently and work independently, collaborating with clients to ensure safe, reliable cable operations while contributing to method improvements.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering and at least 3 years of field experience, with multilingual communication (Dutch, French, English) and a driving license.

• At least 3 years of practical experience with electrical cables or similar fieldwork.
• Willing to travel frequently and work independently on site.

• Perform measurements and inspections on electrical cables at industrial sites and power plants.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES As Electrical Cable Field Engineer

• Perform measurements and inspections on electrical cables at industrial sites and power plants.

YOUR PROFILE as Electrical Cable Field Engineer

• Degree in electricity or electrical engineering.
• At least 3 years of practical experience with electrical cables or similar fieldwork.
• Hands‑on, safety‑minded, and comfortable working independently on site.
• Communicates well in at least two of these languages: Dutch, French, English.
• Holds a driving license and is willing to travel frequently.
• Team player, open to flexible work arrangements, and eager to learn and grow.
• Willing to evolve towards a test lead or expert role within the team in the future
