Otamiser, founded in Bruges and now based in Ghent, Belgium, seeks a hands-on HR generalist to own all people operations. You will manage recruitment, payroll, contracts, benefits and employee experience, reporting to the CFO as the company scales.
Based in Belgium with regular work from our Ghent office, you will shape the HR function, build processes, lead performance cycles and help grow the team as Otamiser expands beyond 40 employees.
Founded in Bruges in 2023 and now based in Ghent, Otamiser runs revenue management for hotels and short term rental operators. We combine pricing, OTA optimisation and distribution into one AI native service, so our clients rank higher on online travel agencies (OTAs) and earn more from every night they sell. In under three years, we have grown to around 40 people, and we have raised €2.9m across two funding rounds to fuel our next phase of growth.
The role
You will be our only HR person, so you cover both hard and soft HR, from payroll to hiring. The role combines recruitment, HR administration, payroll, fleet and office management, and employee experience. One day you are closing the monthly payroll, the next you are interviewing candidates or planning a team event. You will work with colleagues across the whole company, from our revenue managers to the leadership team. As we grow, the HR team will grow with us, and you will be the one to shape it.
What you will do
Own the hiring pipeline: write vacancies, source candidates, plan interviews and do first conversations
Run HR operations: Belgian payroll through Partena, contracts, compliance and employee administration, plus our international contractors through Deel
Manage employee benefits such as Monizze meal vouchers, Alan healthcare, the cafetariaplan, mobility budget and fleet
Keep our policies up to date, including the work regulations, car policy and remote policy
Own onboarding and offboarding, from hardware and accounts to exit interviews
Handle compensation and benefits: salary bands, market benchmarking, the yearly salary review together with the CFO, and ESOP administration
Run the performance review cycle and the quarterly check in surveys, and follow-up on HR KPIs
Organise company events, travel and team building, including our workation abroad, and bring forward ideas that strengthen connection and our office culture
Handle office management, from workplace setup to facilities and supplies
Report to the CFO
What we are looking for
A Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in HR or business
At least 4 years of HR experience, ideally with a background in recruitment or in house HR
Experience with Belgian payroll and HR administration, or the drive to learn it quickly
Comfortable working on your own and juggling a wide range of tasks
Proactive and hands on: you fix things instead of waiting for someone else to do it
Strong people skills: approachable, discreet and professional
Enthusiastic, eager to learn and full of energy
Fluent in Dutch and English
Based in Belgium and able to work regularly from our office in Ghent
What we offer
A permanent contract with a competitive salary package
Alan healthcare, meal vouchers, cafetariaplan and mobility budget
Short decision lines and real ownership: you shape how HR works here, with a direct line to the leadership team
Room to grow as fast as we do: take on more, own more and build your own team over time
An energetic, international team with a strong company culture and regular team events
