Axis Group in Belgium is seeking an HR Manager to shape a dynamic workplace culture, lead recruitment, and drive strategic HR initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will oversee HR operations, develop talent, and ensure compliance with Belgian employment law, while delivering continuous improvement across the HR function. This position offers hybrid work options and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in retail or fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in Flemish (C1/2) and French (B2), or French (C1/2) and Dutch (B1/B2); German knowledge is a plus.
• Proven track record blending operational HR with strategic execution.
• Extensive experience with HRIS such as SAP, Acerta, talent management tools, and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian employment law and HR practices.
• Analytical skills with ability to generate and interpret reports.
• Proactive, hands-on leadership with stakeholder influence.
• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to dynamic retail settings.
• Team-oriented and collaborative in approach.

Qualifications

• Holds a Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Possesses 5-10 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the retail sector or a high-paced environment;
• Is proficient in Flemish at C1/2 level and French at B2 (as well as English at B2), or alternatively fluent in French at C1/2 and Dutch at B1/B2; knowledge of German is highly beneficial;
• Demonstrates a successful track record in blending operational HR functions with strategic execution;
• Has extensive experience working with HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as SAP, Acerta, talent management tools, and advanced Excel;
• Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of Belgian employment law and HR practices;
• Possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and interpret reports effectively;
• Is a proactive HR leader with a hands-on approach and a focus on practical solutions;
• Has proven stakeholder management abilities and the capacity to influence others;
• Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
• Adapts readily to the challenges of a dynamic retail setting;
• Communicates effectively and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
