Accenture is seeking an HR Generalist to support a Belgian business unit, with two days per week in Ghent area and time in Brussels. You will own the employee lifecycle, advise leadership on local HR matters, and partner with payroll, HR, and external vendors to drive employee relations and policy compliance.
You will collaborate within a dynamic HR team across Belux, France and Mauritius regions, and may lead small projects across the HR spectrum.

We are looking for an HR Generalist profile to support a business unit located in the Ghent area. Two days per week office presence near the Ghent area, combined with time in the Accenture Brussels office, is highly desired.
As an HR Generalist, you are the primary point of contact for our business on all HR related topics, ranging from advisory to executing the HR agenda. You will be responsible for the Employee Lifecycle, and you will be in close contact with leadership and employees. You will combine this with Employee Relations responsibilities, for a full overview of the HR Lifecycle:
You take ownership of the local HR agenda and manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to departure.
You are the first point of contact for our People, HR and our Leadership with regards to local (Belgian) HR matters and questions, such as vacation, leave of absence, and policies topics.
Advise leadership regarding local HR aspects, approach and strategy, people topics, and potential challenging areas.
Manage HR administration topics and legal documents together with our payroll department and external vendors,
You are the go-to person for all Employee Relations topics with regards to ethics & compliance, safe working environments, (long term) illness cases, sensitive matters, and more.
Collaborate with our Compensation & Benefits team on plans and initiatives for our People
Manage the business units’ HR Data and provide relevant analytics and trends to advise on decision-making.
Collaborate on drafting, maintaining, and implementing HR related Policies and Regulations across our organization.

The role of HR Generalist is in the heart of Accenture. You will work not only closely with the team of the business unit, but you will also be a part of our Employee Relations team, and as such in regular contact with several colleagues in our Geography (Belux, France and Mauritius) and with the other departments within HR/Corporate Functions. In this role there is also room for your own projects to be set up that contribute to our business or HR.
2-4 years' experience as an HR Generalist, Employee Relations or Field HR - candidates with more experience applying to the role understand that the salary offered will correspond to the mentioned years of experience.
Fluency in Dutch is a must
Ability to pivot from HR business partnering to Employee Relations topics, handling sensitive data and People matters
Team player, data driven, able to navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment
Experience with consulting is a plus
