SAS-Global is seeking an HR Generalist to support a broad HR scope, locally and internationally, in a Belgian-based role with hybrid work. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and payroll processes while contributing to HR projects and employee experience.

You will collaborate across entities in an international setting, communicate fluently in Dutch and English, and bring a proactive, ownership-driven approach to daily HR operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in all-round HR or generalist HR role.
• Strong recruitment experience and candidate management.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment from intake to offer and start.
• Guide onboarding and follow-up during the first 6 months.

Job description

As an HR Generalist, you step into a versatile role where people-focused HR and a strong administrative approach go hand in hand. You will be involved in recruitment, onboarding and HR administration, support payroll processes and contribute to various HR projects. It is a broad role offering plenty of variety, responsibility and opportunities to further develop yourself.

A selection of your responsibilities:

Recruitment

• You take ownership of the entire recruitment process from A to Z, from intake and vacancy creation to salary proposal and successful start.
• You align recruitment needs with managers and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire process.

Onboarding

• You guide new colleagues throughout their onboarding journey, from welcoming them on their first day to further follow-up during their first 6 months, contributing to a professional and welcoming employee experience.

HR-administration

• You ensure accurate and timely HR administration throughout the entire employee journey, from joining the company to leaving the organization.
• You follow up on a wide range of employee-related processes, from contracts and HR documentation to medical examinations and other practical HR matters.

Payroll

• You support the preparation and follow-up of payroll and work closely with your HR colleague to ensure accurate payroll administration.

HR-projects

• You actively contribute to various HR projects and improvement initiatives and help identify ways to further strengthen our HR processes and employee experience.

Profile

• You have a first relevant experience within HR, preferably in an all-round HR role, with a strong interest in recruitment.
• You work accurately and have an affinity with payroll and HR administration.
• You are a strong communicator and easily build relationships with candidates, employees and managers.
• You think proactively and take initiative.
• You like to take ownership of your responsibilities and work in a result-oriented way.
• You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• You feel comfortable working in an international environment and easily collaborate with colleagues across different entities.
