Job summary

Sibelco Group is seeking an experienced HR Representative (Hard HR) at our Dessel plant in Belgium. You will act as the local expert on labour law, compensation & benefits, reporting, and industrial relations, guiding managers and HR peers on complex matters.

You will lead strategic and operational HR projects, support payroll and budgeting activities, and ensure compliant, efficient, and future-proof people practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience with strong exposure to labour law, compensation & benefits, and compliance.
• Proven ability to translate legislation into practical HR policies and actions.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to managers and HR colleagues on Belgian labour law and HR policies.
• Lead and support HR projects related to compensation, benefits, and compliance.
• Prepare complex personnel cost and severance calculations with accuracy.
• Monitor legislative developments and translate changes into practical policies.
• Coordinate HR reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
• Support salary review processes and incentive programs.
• Act as local point of contact for Compensation & Benefits.
