Job summary

Sibelco is seeking an HR Representative (Hard HR) in Dessel, Belgium, to lead labour law, compensation & benefits, and governance across the organization. You will collaborate with regional and global centers of excellence and act as the local expert on HR policies, analytics and reporting.

The role focuses on delivering compliant people practices, payroll coordination, budgeting support and continuous improvement in HR processes while maintaining confidentiality and high integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in human resources, law, business administration or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR with strong exposure to labour law, compensation & benefits, industrial relations or HR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation and employment law.
• Experience in employee relations and handling confidential HR matters.
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits practices and HR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to managers and HR colleagues on Belgian labour law, social legislation, HR policies and compliance requirements.
• Monitor legislative developments and translate legal changes into practical HR policies, procedures and business actions.
• Support and prepare complex and confidential employee cases, including disciplinary matters, exits, restructurings and settlements.
• Prepare HR dashboards, reports and presentations to support management decision-making.
• Lead HR projects related to compensation & benefits, mobility, job classification and pension programs.
