Hilton Brussels Grand Place in Brussels is offering an internship as a Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee. The role involves immersion in daily operations, ensuring rooms meet Hilton standards and guest comfort is maintained.

You will be mentored by a seasoned housekeeping team while learning cleaning techniques and luxury hospitality standards. Ideal candidates are fluent in French, studying Hospitality Management or a related field, with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to develop

Responsabilités

• Assist in opening the housekeeping department by assigning daily tasks and checking inventory
• Support closing of the department and prepare end-of-day reports
• Manage housekeeping inventories and coordinate deliveries
• Handle department emails and respond to internal and guest inquiries
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for smooth operations
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for Hilton standards and report issues
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team

As a Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee, you'll be immersed in the operation from day one. Imagine being part of the behindthe-scenes magic of a prestigious hotel, where cleanliness and guest comfort are elevated to an art form. Your mission? To ensure that every room is perfectly prepared and that every guest feels at home from the moment they walk through the door.

Your Responsibilities

• Housekeeping Opening: Each morning, you will assist with opening the Housekeeping department by preparing and assigning daily tasks to team members, checking inventory levels, and ensuring everything is ready for a successful day.
• Housekeeping Closing: At the end of the day, you will support the closing of the department by ensuring all guest rooms have been cleaned according to Hilton standards, preparing end-of-day reports, and organizing the following day's operations.
• Inventory Management: You will help manage housekeeping inventories, including cleaning supplies and guest room amenities. This includes monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and coordinating deliveries.
• Email Management: You will manage the department's email correspondence by responding promptly and professionally to requests from hotel departments as well as guest inquiries.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Working closely with departments such as Front Office and Maintenance, you will help ensure smooth communication and efficient operations. You will serve as a key point of contact for housekeeping-related matters.
• Room and Public Area Inspections: You will regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet Hilton's quality and cleanliness standards. Any issues identified will be reported and followed up promptly.
• Additional Responsibilities: Depending on operational needs and ongoing projects, you may be assigned other tasks that contribute to the success of the department.

You will gain valuable knowledge of housekeeping operations, from cleaning techniques to luxury hospitality standards. What we're looking for

• You are fluent in French. A good command of English is a strong advantage.
• You are studying Hospitality Management or another relevant field.
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You are eager to learn and develop leadership and team management skills.
• You are available to start this summer, ideally for a six-month internship.
