Job summary

AGC Glass Europe is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to manage all HS topics for the Louvain-la-Neuve HQ. You will build effective relationships with employees, local managers, and the CPPW, ESPP, and other stakeholders while embedding health and safety practices across the organization.

You will oversee compliance with HS regulations, lead safety training, and participate in audits including ISO 14001. Fluency in French and English is required; Dutch is an asset.

Qualifications

• You have the Level 2 prevention advisor certificate or are willing to obtain it.
• You have at least 3 years’ experience in a safety-related role.
• You have good knowledge of HS regulations (Codex, ISO 14001, etc.).
• You are diplomatic and able to interact with different stakeholders including employee representatives.
• You are proactive, communicative, and motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Independence, responsibility, accuracy, a strong work ethic, and assertiveness are among your strengths.
• You speak French and English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor HS topics and ensure regulatory compliance at AGC Headquarters Louvain-la-Neuve.
• Promote and embed health and safety attitudes across the HQ organisation.
• Build relationships with employees, managers, CPPW, ESPP, and other stakeholders.
• Organise safety training, promote safe working practices, and deliver trainings.
• Participate in safety audits (ISO 14001) and other audits at the headquarters.
• Support CPPW by preparing analyses and actions, and document follow-ups.
